Honey-Glazed Pea Pods and Carrots

  1. 2 tablespoons Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 3/4 cup water
  3. 2 cups carrots
  4. 8 ounces fresh pea pods
  5. 3 tablespoons butter
  6. 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  1. In 2-quart saucepan bring water to a full boil.
  2. Add carrots, cover; cook over medium heat until carrots are crisply tender ā€“ about 10 to 12 minutes.
  3. Add pea pods; continue cooking until pea pods are crisply tender ā€“ about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Drain; set aside.
  5. In same pan melt butter; stir in cornstarch.
  6. Add carrots, pea pods and Sue Bee Honey.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through ā€“ about 2 to 3 minutes.
