Honey Teriyaki Sauce for Grilled Meats
  1. 1/2 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 3 tablespoons oil
  3. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  4. 1/2 cup cold water
  5. 3 green onions
  6. 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  7. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  8. 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  9. 1 cup soy sauce
  10. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
  11. 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
  12. 1 orange, juice of
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat oil.
  2. Add in garlic and ginger; saute for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add in soy sauce, vinegar, honey, brown sugar and sesame oil; cook and stir over medium heat until sauce is bubbly, and the sugar has melted (should take about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add in the green onions juice of one orange and the cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp cold water); whisk until the sauce has thickened and is ""glistening"".
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Pour/drizzle over grilled meats or poultry.
  7. Garnish with more green onions and sesame seeds.
