Hot Habanero Wings

  1. 1/4 cup fresh Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 2 pounds chicken wings
  3. 1 (18 ounce) bottle honey teriyaki BBQ sauce
  4. 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  5. 1 1/2-2 inches fresh ginger
  6. 6 cloves garlic
  7. 8 habanero peppers
  8. 4 chili peppers
  9. 3 tablespoons fresh horseradish
  1. Cut wings into thirds, and discard the tips.
  2. There should be about 36 pieces.
  3. In a medium saucepan combine Sue Bee Honey, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Liquid Smoke seasoning, ginger, garlic, habanero peppers, chile peppers and horseradish.
  4. Stir all together, and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
  5. Put chicken wings in a large glass bowl, and cover with 3/4 of the sauce.
  6. Cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  7. Preheat grill for low heat.
  8. Lightly oil grate.
  9. Remove chicken from marinade, and place on grill.
  10. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  1. Wear gloves, and do not let the oil get anywhere near your eyes.
