Omaha, Neb. (February 7, 2007) On Sunday, February 11, at 8:00 p.m. C.S.T., SKAR Advertising client Sue Bee Honey will be the featured product on the fifth episode of NBC's "The Apprentice: Los Angeles." After months of preparation and negotiation on behalf of Sue Bee, the agency will finally have a chance to see the produced episode, where two teams develop a start-to-finish marketing campaign for the Sue Bee product line.
Joleen David, president and creative director at SKAR Advertising, commented on the upcoming episode, "Sue Bee Honey is a great product and a long-standing, valued client. We were thrilled to help them take their place in the spotlight on 'The Apprentice,' and we hope legions of Apprentice viewers will become Sue Bee Honey fans."
The agency facilitated negotiations of the initial appearance opportunity, provided concept-to-creation coordination of show production details (SKAR personnel were used in filming the episode) and developed collateral materials such as in-store shipper displays. SKAR also was instrumental in designing supporting marketing materials and promotional Web pages for Sue Bee Honey.
SKAR will host a post-episode event at the agency where attendees will hear all the details about how the network show was produced, what the contestants were like, and how SKAR helped to make the episode possible. The entire episode will be replayed on widescreen TVs throughout the agency.
