Sioux City, Iowa (February 9, 2007) Sue Bee Honey will be the featured product on the fifth episode of "The Apprentice: Los Angeles," which airs Sunday, February 11, at 8:00 p.m. CST. The hour-long program will reveal two start-to-finish marketing campaigns for the Sue Bee product line.
"We are excited to find out what the two teams came up with and which team wins the competition," said Jim Powell, vice president of sales and marketing at Sue Bee Honey.
Powell added that the whole experience of being featured on a national show ultimately benefits the Sue Bee brand - a 100 percent American-made product - dispels previous perceptions surrounding the American Honey Bee, and highlights the importance of bee pollination to agriculture and a healthy environment.
SKAR Advertising of Omaha, Neb., the representing agency for Sue Bee Honey, has developed "Apprentice" promotional marketing materials and in-store displays, which will be placed in grocery stores where the brand is sold.
