Sue Bee In-Store Displays Showcase New "The Apprentice: Los Angeles" Limited Edition Labels

Sioux City, Iowa (February 14, 2007) – Sue Bee Honey, featured on the February 11 episode of "The Apprentice: Los Angeles," is capitalizing on the recent nationwide exposure by placing in-store "As seen on The Apprentice" displays where the brand is sold.

The new displays are in stores this week and feature limited edition Sue Bee labels created by the winning team of contestants. During the episode, both teams harvested, bottled, labeled and sold Sue Bee Honey at Ralphs supermarkets. Winning team Kinetic edged out team Arrow by selling more than $800 worth of honey during the allotted time.

"Sue Bee's involvement with 'The Apprentice' has without a doubt increased our brand recognition - and placement of our limited edition 'Apprentice' branded in-store displays furthers those efforts," said Jim Powell, vice president of sales and marketing at Sue Bee Honey.

Powell added that although the episode didn't do much to dispel the fearful negative public image of the American Honey Bee, it did help to educate viewers on the importance of bees as a natural food production source and contributor to a healthy environment.
