Sue Bee Honey Easy Apple Crisp
  1. 1/2 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 4 tablespoons butter
  3. 3/4 cup rolled oats
  4. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  5. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  7. 2 tablespoons water
  8. 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  9. 4 1/2 cups peeled, cored and sliced apples
  10. vanilla ice cream
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Lightly grease an 8" or 9" square glass baking dish.
  3. Evenly spread the apple slices in the prepared dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice and water, and pour over the apples.
  5. Drizzle apples with Sue Bee Honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Set aside.
  7. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, oats, and butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  8. Sprinkle over the apples.
  9. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
  10. Serve warm, in individual bowls, topped with vanilla ice cream
