Sue Bee Honey Sweetened Eggnog
- 1/4 cup Sue Bee® Honey
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- In a medium sized pot, stir milk and nutmeg together while heating over medium temperature.
- In a small bowl, beat together the eggs, egg yolk, cornstarch and sea salt until combined; set aside.
- After the milk has warmed but not boiling, pour 1/2 cup of warm milk into your egg mixture while whisking the eggs to temper them. Pour your egg mixture into the hot milk and continue to whisk until the milk thickens.
- Once cooked, remove your egg nog from heat and stir in Sue Bee Honey and vanilla. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
