Sweet and Sour Carrot Compote With Cumin
  1. 1/4 cup Sue BeeĀ® Honey
  2. 3 large carrots
  3. 1/2 onion
  4. 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  6. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  7. 1/4 cup raisins
  1. Peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Chop onion into small dice.
  3. Heat a saucepan over medium heat and toast cumin seeds for about a minute.
  4. Add Sue Bee Honey, vinegar and turmeric and stir till combined.
  5. Add carrots, onions and raisins; cook over low heat till onions are soft and translucent.
